I'm testing 1.5 beta 2.7 on OSX Yosemite now too. Printed a couple of parts successfully.

I seem to be having issues with the latest build in OSX Yosemite while trying to open STL files. It is intermittent. I also get a lot of display window issues where the display window scrambles.
