Hey everyone

I'm new to the KissSlicer, and have recently got a CubeX Duo.

When slicing, its creates a funny extruder path.. See attached photo...

Is there a good explenation or a way to get it straighten out?

Regards

Hi,
did you try with 1.5 ver 2.20 or 1.5 Ver 2.22 ?
You can download them here :
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3evahzu5gfel ... FeGZa?dl=0

Also try with skin 0.8 mm instead of 1mm

Hi

I'm using 1.4.5.10, from 2. sept. 2014..

I downloaded the slicer from the main homepage..?

But my nozzle is 0.5.. how is it making skin 0.8?

I also having problem with small "hols" along the sides without material.. small blob... se picture.

You have to start using the latest version. Then we can help sort out your issues. We will need far more info to begin to help.

The skin is the surface produced with "Solid" and not with Perimeter+Loops.
If you have a 0.5 noozle with 2 loops and skin 0.8 mm , you still have lateral walls of 1mm (2x0.5) but superior and inferior surfaces are made with 4 layers of 0.2 = 0.8 mm.
If all the surfaces are perpendicular to each other there are no problems setting Noozle x Loops = skin , but in a model like yours you better set a thinner skin or Kisslicer will produce small zig zags to increase the thickness of the skin.

You better install the language file Cbeitmodv6.po, that way we can "speek the same language" for settings.

The small holes are probably produced by wrong M227/M228 settings or by a PLA exposed to humidity. Try to reduce a little the M227P now you have 0.1 try 0.08 or 0.06.
The blobs may be produced by wrong calibration. Didi you run a cylinder calibration to set your initial parameters ?

Hi again

I tried to change the skin thickness to 0.8mm. It didnt change the outcom, se picture...

i also tweaked the M227P to 0.08

I also loaded the language file again...
