Micro-Travel Moves within Infill (cause Preload action)

I'm calibrating my extruder. I encountered an issue on Kisslicer Pro v2 a 2.0.6 Win64 where dense infill to support a skin layer is separated into tiny separate moves that each cause PreloadVE action!
This is insanely slow, extremely inefficient and not needed. At least, I can't figure out a reason why this would be useful.
Earlier versions would print continuous zick-zack patterns with one start and one end. Current versions don't do that.
Every white line is a travel move. Most of the green lines are completely separate. This should not be necessary.
