Loop path bug

Slicing the thingiverse spiral ornament https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:210741 I get spurious loop paths crossing the infill and the center hole at heights between 8 and 10 mm.

I'm slicing using kisslicer 1.6.2

I'm slicing with a layer height of 0.2

I've tried changing a few other settings (e.g. corners on the seam settings), with similar results. I checked the model with netfab, and it didn't show any apparent problems. This is the first model I've tried with kisslicer and the first time I've used netfab, so I certainly may have missed something.

Not a KS bug, bad model. The separate spirals intersect each other in that model. KS doesn't process dense intersecting elements very well.

Is there a way to check if this model is bad other than slicing and checking the resulting output? KS doesn't report it as bad on loading.

Again, I'm new to KS.

I can't recommend repair software, I error check models with 3DSMax, which catches alot of errors, but it doesn't detect any on this model.
