Hi Jonathan,
I experiment a strange thing on KS3.10, i try to print an open hull parts with brim. KS make it around the exterior but not in interior :
It's ok with KS2.22 :
PS : Sorry, but I can't release the stl file.

I don't think a brim height of 0 will generate any brim at all.

The printer do the brim.
There is no brim only if brim diameter is set to zero.
Brim ht play on adhesion, but i didn't test it. Page 19 of the manual.

Hi
Result in pictures. 2 loops for birm with 0,8 brim diameter @0,2 layer height & 0,4mm extrusion, skin = 0.8, 2 loops from inside.
This is a print test.
I use brim to avoid little blob of the second layer grid support material just under the first layer of the object (see some of my older post).

Re: No Brim Inside - KS 3.10
The funny thing is, since I added the brim code I've been *trying* to only have the brim on the outside! It seems I finally found a way to make it work, unfortunately. [8^)
So, I can make this a setting, but it won't be for this release, sorry. I'm just trying to smash bugs then get the 1.5 version up for everyone to play with.

Hi Jonathan, hi all
After another slicing test, I found where it comes from :
with a 0.15 layer height, the brim appears inside because there is a small height difference (0,1mm) between the "rib" (internal) and the hull (external) of the parts.
Another point in favor of brim inside : looking at the holes, we see first layer loop+perimeter of each hole do not stick very well on grid.
@ Jonathan : thanks a lot for your works!
