Depend of brand and material but with the resolution i used to print (0.1) it's quite the same. When you are upper than the max speed allow by material it doesn't extrude well and let some small hole/blob. For example a colorfabb pha pla cannot be extrude more than 60 on my bot.
Generally a standard PLA or ABS can be print at speed between 80 and 100 maximun from test made by other people. It's dependent of layer height and nozzle size. The new colorfabb ngen can be print at 130 from test i see.
In fact it's not a true 80mm/s as i use an acceleration of 1000mm/s2. So it's near 50mm/s in short path. For a new bot i plan to build i want to increase the acceleration allowed by the carriage so all fancy like cooling will be deported from the cariage.
