Extra object

Hello first off am a new user to the 3d printing world.

When I load a stl there is a purple cylinder shape on bed also, is this normal?
It does this with any stl I load.
When I slice the object the cylinder also slices.

Is this normal did I set something wrong?

Rostock Max v2
version 1.5 Beta 2.20 Win64

Hello,

take a look on your settings, in the support section you can select a prime structure (Prime Pillar / Skirt / Wall) or no prime structure.
