The idea is to slowly increase the movement speed during the beginning of head motion and slowly decrease it at the end of a path, to ensure that the slack takeup and relaxation of a Bowden tube does not influence extrusion. I don't know how well it works, but it sounds good.

I've long wanted something similar but applied to Z as the head starts and ends a Loop.
