Fatal Error when saving file and g-code

Post by Mr Bill »

Hi Im a newbe to kisslicer and 3D printing.

I have a Cubex Duo and I'm trying to print a fairly complex piece in ABS with PLA as the support. When I go to save my sliced file I get a V4.9 Fatal Error! warning window. It says can't find materials info in print file. (kisslicer Comments must be turned ON!). I look for a box that needs to be ticked on and only find one place in printer firmware and that (include comments) box is turned on. I look at the Material G-Code Token window and it says ( ; Maybe set some material-specific G-code? I know nothing about g-code and was hoping that I just missed something that I need to turn on and have the program write the code for me.

Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill,

looks like you are using kisslicer in conjunction with CubeitMod. I recommend you to read trough this topic:

viewtopic.php?f=20&t=442

On page 6 you can download a new version of CubeitMod as well as instructions how to set it up correctly.

Regards,
Tobi
