How Do I Merge Two stls for Dual Extrusion?

Attached are two stl's (in zip format because stl's can't be uploaded to forum) that are part of the same model created in freecad. When I open them in KISSlicer they are side by side; however I need the numbers (1st stl attachment) inset into the surface of the table top (2nd stl attachment) just as they are in the freecad before I broke the model up into two stl's. The pic entitled "table with numbers inset" shows a visual in freecad of what I'm working with.

Does anyone know how to merge two stl's so I can use dual extrusion to print each stl of the model in a different color?

Open them at the same time: with the file selector dialog, CTRL-CLICK on the files you need to merge as a single print.

Hi,
first of all you have to check the option at the menu bar: Preferences//file handling//load multiple stl's into a single model.
See the screenshots attached for further explaining. EDIT: the upload of the pics was in the wrong order, so start with the lowest screenshot
Of course you have to tweak the printer settings / Gcode Prefix / select and deselect extruder as well, according to your firmware.
