Hello together,

just a quick information for all KISSlicer users, there is a new release candidate available -> https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3evahzu5gfel ... tracking=1

I started this topic to make it more visible here. Because not everyone reads the other topics about "the dead project" where I collected this information. Yes, it is a bit strange to release a new version without any announcement or changelog. But it looks like development is still active behind the scenes.

This release is only available for Windows.

I think that the next release will be the final and the author will complete the project beautifully. In the new version there is nothing new, ui is terrible.

Ui layout sucks

fantastic what you want to be new is a good sign for the fans sign that the project is not dead which is the fear of many thanks thanks i will test it

I tried to use it and i have to say, the UI destroys everything!
So unclear, small buttons, the text is sometimes cut off in the option, click in the middle to open the needed option, back to right side, click to open the sub menu... boah.... AND it is ugly

Sorry for that - but this is not how software should look in 2021.
Hopefully this is really not the new surface, that would be terrible and disappointing Please revert back to the old UI.

There is no information anywhere that will remain so. Understand that the application you are developing is being laid out for testing, not as final. In general, there is no point in being indignant when the work has not yet been done. This is silly.

Absolutely right

reverted to prior release, didn't slice anything,don't even like clicking around the new ui.

I also returned to the previous version.

Downloaded the RC3.1.15
Yes the user interface is a lot different from what we are use to
Im not sure that we can say that it is horrible but we can say it is different
The same issues happened when Microsoft released its new office product and everyone was complaining that they couldn't find anything
We are creatures of habit and do not like change
If there are areas that you do not like please be constructive in the way you explain dislikes...Im sure that the programmer wants to hear constructive criticism regarding the product..not just bashing the product with general comments

I'm at least glad to see that there is work being done on the product and I'm sure that the developer will attempt to take into account the specific dislikes if it makes sense

If there is a changelog it would be great to see this as well as future anticipated developments
