Thanks for the update. some new features look interesting. I am not sure about the GUI design. I think its harder to read now. Here are some examples of flat design which I feel is a better fit for KISSlicer. these are from one company but I have some examples of other UI designs as well I can post. I think the look and feel of the GUI is a really importation part of the productivity and workflow effectiveness. I'd at least consider going back to the flatter initial design as it was easier to read. looking forward to trying some of the new features!

You have your choice of widget themes (under preferences / display options / widget scheme...the old look was "GTK+"). Regarding the entire layout, I do have some ideas for some updates, just not for the 1.5 release. But, yeah, as has been mentioned across the internet in all languages, KISSlicer's GUI is not pretty. [8^)
