Filament flow issues

I am using kisslicer pro and cubitmod for the first time. I have a cubex duo and cubex 1.75 pla filament. The flow starts ok then it starts to thin out and starts skipping. I tried adjusting the flow tweak and Solid% settings but nothing changes. What do I need to do?

Can you manually control the extruder on the CubeX? If so I would try to set it to a temp for PLA (~230C?) and start feeding it and see what happens. If it doesn't skip maybe the temp in Kisslicer is too low for the feedrate you're going for. If it still skips, there could be crap in the tip that is blocking flow. Could be the stepper motor going bad. maybe a fan is bad and not cooling the extruder(above the hot-end). could be the spacing of the feed gear/bearing is too close, does fine @ slow speed but will skip more the faster you go.

Those are either things i've run into on the CubePro or i've seen as answers to filament feed problems.

I know that I do not have any mechanical issues because I do not have this issue when using the cubex slicer. I think I need to calibrate the flow tweak setting in kisslicer. Where can I easily find the print files and instructions to perform the calibration??

Hugues has said the CubeX cannot run slowly, so Cubeitmod is setup to speed the movement up to match the slowest feed the CubeX can handle. There is a bug with the current version that causes it to go superfast

"safemode" can be found here that doesn't have superfast bug (I have not tried it)

The tweak/tune &setup instructions.

If you've downloaded Cubeitmod there is finetune.stl included in the files. The finetune thin wall link is broken but a thin wall model is easily made.
