Minimum path length

Post by Dreide »

It would be great if one could suppress the extrusion of very small paths that otherwise would require extra travel moves. This would be like Simplify 3D's "Minimum infill length", which BTW is also applied to loops.

Crowning setting should be already doing this.

Yes, this is true for short crowning paths. But short paths which appear already when crowning is switched off (-1) are still printed when crowning is on, even if the crowning threshold is high.

I thought crowning paths are "any"short segment path that requires a travel move. If this is the case and you are seeing extrusion paths shorter than your crowning setting then there is a bug somewhere .
