Specifying 1st Layer Extrusion Width

To make sure my print sticks to the bed it is recommended by the manufacturer of my printer that the first layer extrusion width be 125% of the extrusion width. Please let me know how to specify increasing only the first layer extrusion width and then defaulting to the extrusion width for all subsequent layers.

maybe offset Z in the printer options -25%? so the first layer height would be shorter and mush the filament into the bed. (I'm guessing it might work. I don't know)

125% extrusion would definitely blob up more plastic on infills on first layer. I'd rather suggest better Z calibration (slightly closer) to get the same effect.

Thanks for the suggestions.

What I do is to set the Bed Roughness to 0.03 and the Z-Offset to -0.03.
Usually I print between 0.15 and 0.25 mm layers so this mean 12-20% more extrusion on the first layer.
It works for me very well.
