version 1.4.5.10
I can move the starting point of the print close to home by having the Angle knob in the Style tab point to south-west.
The brim still begins in the north-east corner, i.e. as far away from home as possible.
That's annoying, because I sometimes have to pluck a line of filament (ooze after preheat) off the print area before it gets embedded in the bottom layer.

Re: Skirt ignores seam angle
Ah, my fault. For the wall, the starting point rotates around (for better wall integrity), and now the skirt is just a special case of the wall (only 1 layer). I will see what I can do to at least make the 1st layer start at the seam angle.
