I know I've posted a lot of questions recently, but I've got to ask something again...

OK, the is that I try to understand the M227/m228 values properly. I've read the explenation at http://www.cubexupgrade.com/tipstricks/ ... primesuck/ but don't understand what "suck" "prime" "dynamic" "static" means .
I would like to understand exactly what these values do so I could troubleshoot thingof my own, but as it is now I'm completely lost.

Help?

:? ... where did you find the link to a tutorial on 'perfect yoda bust' ? I've been having trouble getting kisslicer/cubeit not to alarm out, much less print anything. I didn't find a link to setup/trouble shooting and have just been stumbling along.

"The M227 can be used without the M228, but if so it works only with a “dynamic” Suck and “Static” Prime."

The way the author seems to be defining dynamic is movement, and static as no movement... So M227 will move while it 'sucks' and pause at the next point to prime before it begins printing again.

"The purpose of M228 is to create a “static” Suck at the end of loop and a “dynamic” Prime at the beginning of next loop, both are very interesting."

So...
M227 would define "suck while you move to the next point then pause"

M228 would define "suck before you move, then prime to the next point"

"The goal is to get an invisible seam, but it’s not so complicated as we can start with a basic setup. "

M227 stop extruding while you move away (lead out)
M228 start extruding while you move in (lead in)

that's how I read it anyway... I can't seem to get it to work though...
