Individual Layer Control

Jonathan mentioned he planned on implementing individual layer settings like S3D has. Any idea when this might be implemented?
Individual layer control is the only thing forcing me to use S3D for some of my prints. For example when I want to print text or detailed areas of a layer, S3D allows me to assign print speeds separately to each part (even when merged for multi extruder) on each layer(s) as appropriate. It would be nice for KISSlicer to have this capability.
