Strange behavior with triangular part

gcode of 1/6 hex wedge

I have a triangular part I am printing, its essentially a wedge, 1/6 of a hexagon, 2mm tall.
KISS did something really weird slicing it - the right part of the triangle the path is 'skipped' and filled, the left half is regular infill. What perfect combination made this happen?

Yeah, there's obviously some math involved here (path optimisation).

Well beyond me though.

It appears not to have any effect on the finished model.
