Chess set ABS acetone smoothed

Hi all, here's my last project. The chess board has been made in wood and all the chess pieces were printed in ABS and acetone smoothed. They are specially designed to be 3d printed and the only one that need supports (included in the design) is the knight. They were all sliced with Kisslicer 1.6, at 0.1mm height. It gives me awesome results, and the seam is invisible at this layer height !! :D

The only one that need some supports is the knight, and I've included it in the design, so you don't need to deal with the supports into the slicer. Some details here (at he end of the video, I'm rotating the pawn without acetone smoothing and then with, you will see that we can't see any seam):

That looks really good.

Did you put any weights in the bases?

Thank you Peter. I've tried to put a bolt inside it to add weight (I was also thinking of using washers). If you have got another idea, I'll be pleased to hear it :D

I was thinking of neodymium magnets for 2 reasons - they are available in a large range of sizes and you could build a computer to move the pieces...

So smooth and clean, it makes me want to try ABS.
Nice prints.

But when it comes to moving knights you may want to make things complex, flip magnet on the bottom and use it to jump the knight :)
