Min Segment Length [mm]

I would appreciate some input with this printer parameter...
Marlin firmware has a Min Segment Time value (on PR Marlin, set to 20 mS).
So how to properly calculate the length?
The tool tip suggests X/Y resolution (1/100) * 2 which equates to 0.02mm.
However, if I take the X/Y Jerk value (10mm/s - maybe the slowest movement?), the min segment length based on 20mS is 0.2mm.
So what value should I use for Min Segment Length?
