Elephant foot compensation

Hi!

I'm really happy with this new 1.6 release, but I was wondering if there was a possibility to compensate the elephant foot effect of a good squished first layer?
I didn't see any parameters for this, but I may be mistaken, so I don't know if this is a feature request or if this is even possible.

There isn't anything built into the 1.6 release that will help, sorry. The KISSlicer 2.0 path has some seriously pre-alpha functions that will help, but I can't guarantee when they'll become available. I'm guessing something as simple as a XY-inset for the 1st layer only would work for you?

thanks,
Jonathan

Thanks for your reply Jonathan.
And yes, a simple XY-inset of the first layer should work.

I'm used to do a chamfer on the base (of my 1st layer height for the height and approximately 0.4mm width) to anticipate this when I model an object. This is another solution.
The one Jonathan gave is also a very good tip ;)
