Preload wizard confusion

I have never used KISSlicer before, but was intrigued with the Preload function. I ran the Wizard twice, once from 0 to 1 and again from 0 to 0.3. The prints were done with eSun Pla Pro printed at 210. These are printed with the D300VS profiles from the kisslicer.weebly.com site using the Preload_Wizard v2 profile. I can't tell what I should be looking for.

I've been quite happy (or, to be honest, too lazy) with the "mini-wizard" to experimentally determine the value. Today I ran through all the wizards and had very similar experience with preload wizard. Well, my seam is tons better, but it's equally uniform along the z-axis, so I left the value unchanged. I suspect something's wrong here, waiting for Jonathan's comments about the gcode people uploaded on the other thread. (Unfortunately, I overwritten my gcode and can't look at it and unless I print out I can't be sure I'd get the same seam, so I'm postponing it.

P.S. can one subscribe to the thread without posting?
