In KS 1.5 RealeseIf you use grid + (large) brim option with multiple objects/Island, islands grids cross themselves : the grid do not take in account the brim diameter.
To avoid : use "Inflate Raft..." option to correct...but you will see your prime pillar growing as well

I have just checked the latest alpha and it does not appear to be an issue in that.

I loaded 2 models, set brim to 10mm and inflate raft to 3mm. After slicing the raft looks just a little more than 3mm outside the brim.

You may want to check it out when the next beta arrives.
