Cubeit mod error 256

Has anyone else experienced this error, or what does it mean. When I open cubeit by itself and try to run a file through it always says "cannot locate file". I believe it is referring to the file I am trying to run through cubeit but I do not know why it cannot find the file. I have tired saving to the desktop, the same folder as cubeit mod, and documents. I am using a mac (which is probably the problem) with the most recent version of kisslicer.
