ABS not sticking to itself

I am printing a fixture plate in ABS. The print takes about 3 hours to print. After fighting with ABS to stick to the table for weeks, I finally have that problem solved. Now I am having a problem with the plastic printing on a thin layer towards the top of the model, not stocking to itself. It starts delaminating about 2 hours into the print. After the part finishes, I can literally pull it apart with my hands. There is no strength in it at all. The same part printed in PLA does not have this problem and is actually very strong.

I am using a cubex duo with cubitmod.

Have you tried increasing the temperature?
I have had very good results at 250.
Regards.
