KISSlicer 1.5 release candidates 1 and 2

Hi, all!
This has been a long time coming, but I think version 1.5 is ready (enough) for a release! There are now 1.5rc1 builds up in the Dropbox folder for Windows, with Linux coming very soon, and Mac to follow in a day or so.
Direct link:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3evahzu5gfel ... _rc_1?dl=0
Please let me know of any bugs you find (things like crashes, controls that refuse to work, an ugly GUI...OK, maybe not that). I know there are a bunch of features and user-interface issues still floating around...this release is to get a solid platform out there for regular users to adopt so they aren't stuck with the very-out-of-date version that's currently on the website.
My plan is to let you advanced users play with it for a while, and if nothing major is found within about a week then I will officially release KISSlicer 1.5!
Thank you all for your testing, comments, and of course helping other users! You are a wonderful group!
thanks,
Jonathan

Thank you! I am stoked to see you have made progress. I'm gonna try it ASAP.

Thanks!
Well, squashed a bug already (some tooltips wouldn't translate). It's fixed for the release, but I'm not going to upload a new set of RC builds yet.
Anybody else find any issues?
thanks,
Jonathan

Hello and thanks a lot for this final 1.5 version !
I don't see any problem with this new version right now. Can you told me what change between 1.5 3.10 and 1.5 rc 1 ?
If I ll see a bug or somethink like this, i ll report it .
Have a nice day.
Morgan.

Oops, sorry, I did forget the changelog.
From 1.5 beta 3.10 to the new 1.5 rc 1:
- Setting panel is now resumed to the last state (open or closed from when KISSlicer was last closed)
- Disallowed negative inset (would break multi-material builds, needs more work)
- Fixed a 1 Hz hitch that happened occasionally
- Added extruder colors to the extruder map window (not the colors of the material in each extruder)
- Sped up G-code saving a tiny bit
- Added warnings when there is no G-code for same extruder warm / cool
- Fixed a bug where the XY travel speed was not settable
Things I fixed since rc 1, but are not available for testing:
- Fixed some widgets and tooltips that were not translated
- Fixed updating a setting's value while a user is editing it
thanks,
Jonathan

Something weird going on with the transition from shell to infill.
It sometimes transitions to infill a layer too early in random places, making irregular islands of infill among the solid shell.
Here are my .ini files:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/170 ... BigBox.zip
Here are the STLs:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/170 ... 0Inner.STL
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/170 ... 0Outer.STL
Here's what the plate looks like:
Note the patch of premature infill on the right of the right part (Side Panel Lock - Outer.STL).
The part is completely symmetrical around the vertical axis.

Aww, man, I was just getting ready to push out a RC 2!
On the early transition, I think that is a numerical issue when the slice Z sits right on a top (or bottom) surface. (KISSlicer scans the model right in the middle of each slice, so if a slice is from 0 mm up to 0.2 mm, the geometry scan happens at 0.1 mm.) If you try modifying the layer thickness just a tiny bit (like 0.25001, instead of 0.25), does the problem disappear? If so, this a processor precision issue, and I can't do all that much about it (or rather, anything I do about it shifts the problem but doesn't really fix it).
Regarding the crashing, does this happen when you use "Reload from Files(s)" right-click menu option? Or any other specific feature? Can you find a simple set of steps that will let me duplicate the problem?
thanks,
Jonathan

Mac version
I posted about what might be a CPU performance issue in "bug reporting" here
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1315
also when in the Style tab, when I click in Layer Height, I get repeating characters. eg. if it has 0.5 and i click in the field, it will fill with 0.0055 or something like that. its very hard to trick it into allowing me to type 0.4 because everytime i start typing it auto-types.
