Mouse resolution changing after scaling down model

Hello
After scaling down very big object, when I try to zoom in, I need much more scrolling to get there. Closer I am to the model, smaller resolution it is. It affects panning and zooming, rotation seems ok. I tried on newest release (3.10) as well as some older versions, same result.
Sometimes it repair itself after some zooming and sometimes it stays also after removing model from the build.
For anyone to try, I can replicate it every time by loading big model, rotating view to look below on the model, downscaling and then when I try to zoom in, it happens.
I am using 64bit version on Windows 7 64bit. No special mouse software installed.
Could You please look into it?
