I see some people from the google group have accounts here. great. we really need an organized way to discuss things. lets just start chatting and take it from there.

If this forum gets used I will start to evolve it. like putting in a logo, getting better SEO, tapatalk, a reputation system, etc. If you have suggestions let me know. also if you have suggestions on the forum sections also let me know. i put up what i thought would be a good start.

feel free to post here.

Hi, everyone!

So, I had a proposal regarding the forum migration, thought about it all weekend, and went to post it, ending up...here! Nice work on this forum, by the way!

So, here was my idea:
  • Go with this forum
  • I can make an A record update to my Domain Name Server to point "forum.kisslicer.com" here to this server
  • I will give access (to whomever you decide) to the database from the original kisslicer forum, that way you can mine all the original posts and migrate them here.
What do you think?

That would be great lonesock. also I am thinking you should have admin access to the forum as well. this way if something happens on my end you can still recover and carry on. this forum doesn't really cost me anything so I am happy to host it etc. I think this is how people should treat each other in general. Just do good deeds and get along.

Hi All, Plexus,

Really positive to see a new forum up and running, so hats off to you Plexus.

I certainly look forward to contributing and sharing the knowledge where and when I can.

Cheers,

I agree, but can't help as I don't have the needed skills.

Best regards

Another one here.

Great job Plexus, and better noticies from Ionesock.

I'm not an expert, but I will try to help, specially to Spanish language users.
Plexus, maybe you can get the forum statistics, and know which are the most actives countries and make "special" sub-forum with the mains languages. So we can write/translate, for example, a first steps guide for installation and calibration.

Regards.
