M227 and M228???
Working with KS1.5 V2.7, Cubeitmod safe from Hugues. Printing a 1"x1" thin wall test box. As the picture demonstrates the filament is not extruding for at least an inch from the start corner of the box. I copied the M227 and M228 from an earlier post. With version 2.0 this prints fine with M227P @ 0.25 and M227S @ .004 but not with this version.

Re: M227 and M228???
Hi Joe,
I also notice an other bug few days ago when trying to setup a new filament, the speed was divided by two... I didn't analyse more about this problem.
Better to setup now with a previous version.

Is it a KS bug or Cubeitmod bug? What version of KS was your "Fine Tune" calibration tips on your website written for?

Re: M227 and M228???
hi,
I didn't remember the version used for this tutorial, but the beta 2.15 would work with a single wall print.
This issue we get is not due to a bug from kisslicer or cubeitmod, it 's new feature added to kisslicer who are not understand by cubeitmod.
I will try to look at this, but it"s really hard for me as i'm not a developer !

I understand, thanks for the reply Hugues. What is the purpose of the AU3 file? Do I need to put a copy of it in the KS folder?

The au3 files is the code of kisslicer. You can edit it with autoedit.

Re: M227 and M228???
Hugues, Why is it when I read some posts they refer to M227 & M228 "S" as speed and some refer to it as suck. I have tried all sorts of combinations of settings but cant get the "fine tune" model to print without a 15 - 17 mm gap starting at the z level change. I've tried all version from 2.0 to the latest 2.20. I have tried with CubeitMod491, your Safe version and even without any cubeitmod. No change. I have tried your settings and other settings that I have found in other posts. The only version I can get to print correctly is 1.4.5.6.
Lonesock if you read this can you set the record straight? is the "S" speed or suck?
I even printed the file using CubeX and it printed great, I used that M227 and M228 code but it didn't work.
I just saw a post that a guy with a delta printer is having the same problem.
Update: I just realized that M227 and M228 are not showing up in the g code of the newer versions. I pasted them in to the latest version and it printed fine. Is this because Cubeitmod is not up to date?
M227 P.15 S .04 M228 P.015 S .025
