can you explain me the difference between Merlin firmware and 5D Absolute E please?

No Problem Merlin was a Magician. Alternate it's a Hotend with Airbrush Nozzles.

5D absolut E is only the way how the extruder will be controlled. Here with absolut cordinates

If your printer use Marlin then you can choose relativ or absolut E.
