KISSlicer 1.5 Beta 2 - in development

Post by lonesock »

Hi, all.

I have been working on the beta 2, and I think it is almost ready to go! The windows builds are up in the dropbox folder:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3evahzu5gfel ... FeGZa?dl=0

They are for 1.5 Beta 2.7. I will be working on cranking out builds for the other operating systems ASAP. (Especially for Mac, I need to update the FLTK library because of some compatibility issues with Yosemite.)

Please let me know how it goes!

Hello Jonathan,

I tried to download and Chrome blocked it w/ the following message and this has not happened w/ any of the other versions I downloaded:

I wonder if that has anything to do with hosting the zip Dropbox...trying it as an attachment:

Jonathan

EDIT: Now Chrome tells me it is "Not commonly downloaded and could be dangerous". [8^/ I use an executable packer to reduce the exe's size (and offer minimal protection against hacking), hopefully that is not the problem.

Not sure what to do here.

OK, the new files are now cleverly listed as "rename2zip" files in the DropBox folder. Please feel free to scan them with anti-virus on downloading, and let me know if anything is flagged.

Hi !

The new corner option for seam works well, thanks ! Just a detail, the seam jump from one side to the other side of the leg, it doesn't follow the same corner.

Thanks for this new version !

Ps: for cubex user, I didn't test the new raft option, otherwise it's look good!

I just added a Mac build. Linux is next (probably on Monday). I wanted to get Mac out first because I have heard some people are having issues with the latest OSX (Yosemite) and KISSlicer, so I am hoping this build fixes it!

thanks,
Jonathan
