Thanks for this thread and posting this picture. It really helps describe the process.
Can you describe the model and settings that you used for the towers?
I can not get 'good' stringing with my setup. I am trying to print 2 perimters/loops with 12.5% infill. I think that the infill is having the effect of 'destringing' the print.
In vase mode, I was getting some strining, but I started loosing bed adhesion ~6-7mm in height and none of them worked out at all.
I have sucessfully temperature tuned, flowrate tuned and preload tuned so far. I just cant seem to get any stringing that will let me judge the effectiveness.
