Seam Gap CubeX Trio
Hi,
I've recently been having trouble with a CubeX trio and Kisslicer (with cubeitmod), every time I print something the seam always has a gap. I've been reading that it is down to M227 and M228, but I've tried to change these to what is recommended and this is the best I can get:
compared to:
I have changed my settings since and I'm still having this issue, so if you want these just let me know.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Please note:
1. I know there is a gap between the raft layer and the model, I took it off to see if it had printed the base properly.
2. This is my first time posting on forums so if I've done anything wrong please tell me.

To help you I really need to know the settings you used to print, make a print screen of MAtl tab.MBennett wrote: I have changed my settings since and I'm still having this issue, so if you want these just let me know.
Please print une part with Infill set to "VASE" and 1 loop.

Re: Seam Gap CubeX Trio
Please, load into KS the language file for the version of Cubeitmod you're using.
then try those settings :
M227P 0.08
M227S 0.03
M228P 0
M228S 0.01
then try those settings :
M227P 0.08
M227S 0.03
M228P 0
M228S 0.01

Hi,
I've now run KS with the same settings as before but i forgot to change the matl to one of the language defaults (abs 1.7) this has increased the flow tweak. (from 1 to 1.11)
Thanks for your help.

reduce M227P to 0.06 and M227S to 0.02.
Post picture and screen shot of your settings.
Did you adjust the flow tweak before you try to find the settings of the seam ?
what version of cubeitmod are you using ?

Cubeitmod 4.91is an old version and cannot work properly with the latest versions of KS.
Please use Cubeitmod 6.05 and install it with all the files that are into the zip file.
Follow the instructions.
When this is done, measure with a caliper the diameter of your filment and set it into the matl tab.
Then print with infill = vase and 1 loop, measure the thickness of wall on the last part of the path ( the first part of the path can be affected by inappropriate M227/228 settings ).
Adjust the flow tweak to have the good wall thickness ( if you're using original cubex hotend you must have 0.5mm).
When this is done you can start the tests for M227/&228 ( seam parameters )
