Cube X newbie issue

Post by bigredram87 »

So I am struggling to get quality prints out of my cube x. I have a stock cube x system using abs plastic and a heated bed at 100 degrees c. After getting very bad prints I decided to go back and just use the cube x program to simplify and verify I could get good prints there, I am still getting bad prints there. It seems like when the nozzle tries to fill in over the diagonal infill it doesn't make the gap. Any idea what this is a sign of?

Looking at you picture I think it has something to do with the kissilcer settings such as infill. If you infill is below 10% you may get that problem. A solution could be to increase infill to 20% and make sure surface layer is set larger then 0 mm. If you are still having trouble please check out my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcit95 ... WflgfwsvTA You can find lots of solutions there.
