Thanks for your replies.

I'll try it in a Virtual Machine.

By the way where could I download 6.03 for Mac. Will that place be the same location where to find 6.05 as soon as that one is ready.

I've tried to Google it, but the latest version I've found was 4.91.

Here's the 6.03 :

but you better use the 6.05 into a VM.

The cubeitnet605 will be placed into the Cubeitmod6.05 thread.

Thanks, I'll be patient and in the mean time I will either be using my old setup (Kisslicer 1.1.0.14 with Cubinnet 4.91) or the newest versions (Kisslicer 1.5 rc with Cubitmod 6.05) on Windows 10 in a VM.

Is there any news from Peter about a Mac conversion for 6.05 or an estimate about it (1 month, 0,5 year??)

Thanks, no is also an answer. I'll have to wait longer.

I hope there is someone who can make the conversion, but till then, I'll be using a VM with Windows.

Thank you VERY much! That fixed it. And thank you for getting back to me so quickly....I will be upgrading to Pro for my business.

One last question...my prints turn out really nice but the raft and/or brim just doesnt't come off...they are welded to the print...can you suggest some print settings for the Cubex Duo?

Hi there

I was just curious if (or when) there is a Mac OSX version yet.

With regards

Hi there,
I am rather new to the topic and to the forum. I beg your pardon for all naïve or wrong things I might say.

My lab has a Cubex Duo and since the original software from 3D system is far from perfect, I recently tried out and purchased the kisslicer with CubeItMod6.05.

I am using setting from a website that is cubexupgrade or something similar and I am printing mainly with 3D system ABS for main part and, when necessary, PLA for support and raft.

My first impression was that with kisslicer the prints are immediately better. I solved right away the adhesion problem. Now I have somehow the opposite, it is difficult to detach the part from the base. It depends a lot on the hardware Z Gap that I have to set before every print, at least twice.
Still I find some things I'd like to improve. Here is a bit of a list with pictures:
  1. If I do not have a skirt for the first layer the ABS comes out spotty from the extruder:
    Spotty first layer
    Spotty first layer
  • Sometimes the print seems to be delaminating or the ABS fails to stick to itself properly:
Some failure to stick to itself in the dead center of the photo

Settings for ABS are:
[ABS Cubex Thickness 0.1]
