Very nice. What temp must the nozzle be to extrude PEEK? And may I ask what surface you are printing onto?

Wow, that is hot!

I am assuming from the picture that the PEI plate is glass filled?

I have some Ultem on order which I plan to adhere to glass with high-temp silicone. I hope it will work well for ABS.

Ultem plate: yes it is.
Its performance with ABS is simply not worth the price... kapton tape is WAY better, IMHO.

The few parts I have printed with ABS have been on Kapton and the adhesion was incredible. It was very difficult to get the part off without damaging the Kapton. I was hoping the Ultem might be less susceptible to damage. I will have to test the Ultem I guess.

very nice! looks great.
what did you have to do to get your firmware to allow temps higher than 275C? i'm using marlin firmware on the typeA machines, and the firmware high temp limit is 275. i switched to the hexagon hotend and i'm hoping there's a simple gcode command that raises the firmware temp limit. i want to print polycarb but layer adhesion is pretty crap at 270C

Marlin has MAXTEMP setting but AFAIK you can't set it with Mxxx codes, you must compile it in...
