FAN_Z bug? on multiple extruders & multiple material profile

Post by clarence »

If two or more materials fan_z is different on differnt assigned extruder.

appeared a strange M107 suddenly just after fan_z height.

issue found on 1.5 Beta RC1, but not sure if it's a issue from earlier version since I just playing with dual extruders recently.

I'm not seeing the bug. Are you referencing the M107 on line 442?

If I'm reading the G-code correctly, the material in extruder 1 disallows the fan below 0.5 mm. On the first layer extruder 2 goes first with the fan on, then when it switches to extruder 1 it turns off the fan because z = 0.2 mm is still under the 0.5 mm limit specified for that material. Then it goes to layer 2 at z = 0.4 mm, still extruder 1 with no fan, then it switches to extruder 2 and enables the fan again.

What was the behavior you desired?

thanks,
Jonathan
