Odd artifacts on v1.4.5

Post by ImpulsiveJames »

Hey, I ran across one of my first bugs with v1.4.5

I sliced up this big bowl thing (random print for a friend) and in v1.1.0.14 everything looks great, but in v1.4.5 I get this odd patter on the bottom, which I cant have for a friends print. It also translates into the upper post-infill layers. For the record Slic3r does not do it, but I hate using that program, mainly because of the inside diameter of holes/interlocking parts...

Virtually exact same settings between the two different versions. I would upload the STL, but after adding supports with MeshMixer, the file ends up being 300mb. I can upload to Google Drive if someone wants to take a look.

Let me know what you want/need from me.

Thanks,

James

Is the stl getting error flagged before you slice?

Yep..... Thanks....

I tried to run it though netfabb, but no success.

It is odd that it doesn't do it on the older version though, right? and only for the first layer?

I just posted Windows builds for a new version, 1.5 beta 3.4 into the Dropbox folder. (I'm really hoping no show-stopping bugs are found!) Could you test it out for me?

thanks,
Jonathan

(P.S. I'm working on getting Linux builds up, Mac will take another few days.)
