Extruder Ordering Optimization

Hi

I'm wonder what is the difference between "Reuse Latest" and "fixed order" in the ExtMap tab.
Does someone could explain me what it does, advantage/inconvenient about this feature?

Reuse latest = part will print faster but cooling wont be perfect (on small parts it may be a problem)
Fixed order = part will print slower (no path optimization) but cooling will be consistent
